We stayed 4 nights and loved it. Everything is so well cared for, bathrooms/showers were very clean and the service was excellent. Very close to lots of attractions.

A bit pricey when you have 5 kids and they add on nearly $20 per kid. But…they love the pool and playground so I guess it beats the price of bringing them to Disneyland

Overall great but I spend a ton of money to come and have no shade on our spot and lawnmowers ruining our outsidetime. One other thing is some of the workers there can't drive golf carts. This time a lady almost hit my son. She flew backwards not even looking nor apologizing and one other visit the old man did the same. My husband jumped in to hold the car while us yelling. He seems drunk always.

The campground is beautifully designed and maintained with lots of activities for kids. They need to have more activities for adults and teens. Love all the trees and shade.

Loved our site. Very nice patio with table and umbrella, fire pit and plenty of room for chairs for our friends who visited. We were in the Redwood area and it was nice and quiet. Everything was neat and clean and the landscaping was pretty. Loved the big trees. It was an easy walk to the pool or store. Very nice people. Restaurants close by were good.

Nice sites…large and level for big RV’s. Lots of activities for the grandkids. But also…the most expensive of all the RV Parks we’ve stayed at…and definitely not the nicest. I guess it’s all about location.

We stayed a week and had to extend 2 days for a repair to our bus. They were very accommodating. Loved the wood delivery. Food truck was a convenience and tasted okay. Did not use pool. Too many kids. Nice grassy yard by bus with trees for shade. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable.

Generally great! We had a group of 100 people and everyone was mostly happy. I wish the bathrooms had built-in stepstools since so many kids had to be lifted up to reach the sink and soap. Thank you!

Great place with tons of kids stuff to do which is always a bonus. We did a cabin pretty far from everything which isn't great when you have kids but otherwise it was amazing.

Excellent Campground. Large site, VERY clean bathrooms / showers. The staff was also very pleasant to dela with. Over all we were very happy during our stay.

The area we were in this time, Valley View, was disappointing. There was dead and dying grass full of burrs that stick to clothing and our dog. Some sites were mostly dirt. We were given a spot that we barely fit into when there were others that would have been a better fit. Bathrooms nearby were very nice and spotlessly clean! Dog park was in great shape.

Had a wonderful stay at San Francisco North KOA on Memorial Day in Petaluma! Great Staff, fun Hot Tub, and beautiful area!

Very nice, clean, well-organized especially for the holiday weekend. Lots for kids and families to do. Narrow roads make it very difficult for bigger rigs to maneuver. Showers are unpredictable hot and cold. Wi-Fi is not readily available- we were told to go to the office or bath house to connect, or to buy an extender!

Price for full hook ups RV sites is way too high for the area and the park.. This is a basic "crash at night" RV park. Some RV sites that this park lists as "full hook ups" aren't (they don't have sewers). If you want a sewer, you have to pay extra. Park is clean and quiet, though. Water isn't available at night while the sprinklers are running. We won't be back. .

My family and I have been here a few times and this was one of the worst experiences we have had. We usually go do Memorial weekend there we always schedule in advance I know I had hit lock in my site and somehow it did not I am not happy about this so we were not near our family. also, I was charged for two guests to come in but only one showed up, and still was charged..

Checkin line was pretty long during the holiday weekend. Pool was unexpectedly closed for about an hour due to a maintenance issue and there was no announcement or sign letting people know. Overall lodging was as expected but had less kitchen tools in it than other KOAs we’ve stayed in- no tongs, bbq supplies, salad bowls, large cutting board, etc.

The showers were less than clean and do not drain. Imagine showering in a giant puddle 2-3 inches thick. It made what was a wonderful stay last year a bit challenging this year. Showers are pretty important. Last year was clean and functional. This year was not functional and made our three day stay a lot less enjoyable. There are a lot of free roaming dogs & dog waste In the campsite.

Overall, a nice weekend. Lots to do here. Our site unfortunately had just had some construction work, so there was a giant dirt patch in the middle of our hang-out area, which was a bummer. Wifi was terrible. Also, the socket for 50amp at the pedestal is recessed in such a way that our plug couldn't connect. Had to use a 50-30amp adapter to connect to 30.

This is the best KOA I’ve visited. The grounds are kept clean and well maintained; there are a lot of activities scheduled to keep the kids busy; the restrooms/showers are modern; the pool/spa are large, clean, and well-situated. Every single staff member I spoke to during both of our stays were very nice, had great energy and greeted my family with a smile every time we interacted. Great place!

Although big and crowded, very nice campground, especially perimeter and end sites. Staff is wonderfully helpful. Many amenities to keep the kiddos entertained. Some groups that camp are not as considerate as a person would hope they'd be. Very noisy well past the quiet hours. Overall, we had a great time!

The campground is nice but be aware that if you need to do laundry there, you are forced to sign up for an app on your phone in order to use their machines that do not accept credit cards or coins. My husband and I have traveled all over the country and this is the first time we have encountered this. We didn't want to have to acquired an unwanted app on our phones and the instructions for acquiring it aren't easy. So we had to haul our laundry to a local laundromat and as we were leaving we saw other guests taking their laundry back after they left too. I complained nicely to a staff member who didn't seem to care. Having said that the campground is nice, surrounded by pine trees and redwoods. It's real advantage is being near the ferry boats going over to San Francisco. Be aware, while there is a local train going to the ferry, where it lets you off is three quarters to a mile walk to the ferry. In rain it would be very unpleasant and no one tells you how far the walk is. It is better to drive your car to the ferry and pay the $2 on the digital parking meter. We took the train once and drove three other times. Other than that, the campground is in a nice setting and near wine country too.

We went for a wine country weekend. It's the perfect location. Right between Sonoma and Santa Rosa. We stayed in a lodge. It was very nice. The pool was great. It was fun to see everyone having so much fun. The customer service was very friendly. I will go back.

We booked last minute and we're totally happy with our first KOA experience. The office staff and groundskeepers are out of this world friendly. My husband and I were traveling without the kiddo or the dogs, but if you have young kids with you, this is the place to stay! SO MANY kids and they're all running around playing and riding bikes/scooters. If little kid laughter bugs you, then be advised. There's a dog park, a petting zoo and the office has beer, wine 😉 and souvenirs. My only comment would be that laundry is not available 24/7 - only until 6 pm (even though it's behind closed doors) and that quiet hours last until 8 am (would've preferred 7 am since we had our motorcycle).
