Overall, a nice weekend. Lots to do here. Our site unfortunately had just had some construction work, so there was a giant dirt patch in the middle of our hang-out area, which was a bummer. Wifi was terrible. Also, the socket for 50amp at the pedestal is recessed in such a way that our plug couldn't connect. Had to use a 50-30amp adapter to connect to 30.

Always enjoy Petaluma KOA, very friendly staff, clean & well maintained grounds. Also so close to so much to do & explore near by.

This is the best KOA I’ve visited. The grounds are kept clean and well maintained; there are a lot of activities scheduled to keep the kids busy; the restrooms/showers are modern; the pool/spa are large, clean, and well-situated. Every single staff member I spoke to during both of our stays were very nice, had great energy and greeted my family with a smile every time we interacted. Great place!

Although big and crowded, very nice campground, especially perimeter and end sites. Staff is wonderfully helpful. Many amenities to keep the kiddos entertained. Some groups that camp are not as considerate as a person would hope they'd be. Very noisy well past the quiet hours. Overall, we had a great time!

Check-in was smooth and quick, even on a holiday weekend. Campground was clean and well maintained. Employees were friendly and welcoming. Thank you for the great stay!

We stayed during the memorial weekend. It was too busy. Good for you, not for us. The showers and toilets were often occupied (for a long time) and it was hard to get a nice temperature of the water. The WiFi didn’t work cause of the amount of people (bad reason for a pricy KOA). In the swimming pool a lot of people wore shirts in the water, very unhygienic! For a KOA campground expected m

We have stayed here several times and each time has been very good. Like the large property to walk my dog every day and end up in the dog run area. Great place close to meetings we attend and to relatives in the surrounding area.

Nice surroundings and wonderful staff. Everyone I met, including store personnel, the guys operating the honey bucket & the landscape/cleaning folks, were friendly, helpful and had a great sense of humor. A special thumbs up go to Andrea & Mike. More than amenities, and there are many, all of these people made my stay very enjoyable. Thanks for a great week!

We were able to camp close to friends even though they were in a different site type. Dog area is a plus. Pretty grounds and friendly staff.

Young lady with slight accent went out of her way to be helpful. A new hire still being trained, I wish I got her name. She taught me how to use the laundromat, I had no idea.

Very nice campground and setting in the trees. We have stayed there a number of times over the years and have enjoyed each. Site we were given was great, unfortunately a large group came into the cabins north of us and their kids were out of control, as well as the adults were very loud late at night. Had to complain to the staff and we were moved to another site. Still our go to place.

Beautifully landscaped, well cared for and clean campground. Large swimming pool, nicely decorated bathrooms/showers. We can’t wait to return!

Water issue 0n our last day 5/21/24. Water main issues. Had to go up to the upper showers. No hot water....... No cable available. Very blotchy at best. Antenna doesn't work in the trees. Mike and Andrea were great hosts.

This is one of the best KOA's we have stayed at. The grounds are very clean and beautiful. The staff is very friendly and professional and always willing to help. There are new activities that are really fun such a crab feed and the chili cook off. We usually visit this campground 2 to 3 times a year and every time it is great! Thank you the Wood family for making great memories happen.

I enjoyed our site A-10 and stayed in the Past on A-12 i believe. I enjoy a little more privately since i go camping to relax since i have a full time job and caregiver after work. I travel with my 2 young dogs and its nice to have a private small site to keep them calm. I enjoy visiting the animals at the campground also. The workers are very friendly also which is a big plus.

This was our third time staying at the Petaluma KOA. Very nice front counter staff working the registration office. We were also greeted by a very nice ground service team member while we were setting up letting us know he’s here to assist with any questions or delivery of firewood. There are a lot of nearby places to go to (wineries, ocean, shopping outlets, etc. We’ll definitely be back!

We have been "KOA members" for many years and this trip was to honor my Grandson's graduation. My daughter's family and we paid extra dollars to have adjoining PREMIUM sites. We told them we had a 40' coach with 4 slides and towing a vehicle. We were assigned site 161 (the worst site in the park) which does NOT qualify as a premium spot. My daughter offered to swap sites. We felt cheated.

Very nice KoA. Friendly staff. Great activities for families. Beautifully maintained campground! However, site 161 is NOT premium. It’s a parking spot next to the bathroom. Also, the sewer connection is uphill, so draining black and gray tanks is problematic. Other sites are significantly better.

I was surprised by how clean and well maintained everything was. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the campground's landscaping included a lot of pollinator friendly plants. The nightly delivery of firewood was so appreciated. I loved hearing the owls, robins and other birds, and I even saw a beautiful fox pass through. A beautiful, surprising experience. Thank you.

We liked your campground but the open space was on such a slant that the picnic table was not usable. We were switched to E55 after declining our original space because it didn't have sewer at the site. We wish we had viewed E55. We would still recommend to a family member but would suggest seeing the space first. You have a lot of nice spaces with patio and fire pit. Wish we had one!

Facility was very clean and staff were really friendly. Sites were spacious and quiet. Lots of things to do for kids. Close to city and in the heart of wine country. Hidden gem! My family will definitely be back!

The campground is nice but be aware that if you need to do laundry there, you are forced to sign up for an app on your phone in order to use their machines that do not accept credit cards or coins. My husband and I have traveled all over the country and this is the first time we have encountered this. We didn't want to have to acquired an unwanted app on our phones and the instructions for acquiring it aren't easy. So we had to haul our laundry to a local laundromat and as we were leaving we saw other guests taking their laundry back after they left too. I complained nicely to a staff member who didn't seem to care. Having said that the campground is nice, surrounded by pine trees and redwoods. It's real advantage is being near the ferry boats going over to San Francisco. Be aware, while there is a local train going to the ferry, where it lets you off is three quarters to a mile walk to the ferry. In rain it would be very unpleasant and no one tells you how far the walk is. It is better to drive your car to the ferry and pay the $2 on the digital parking meter. We took the train once and drove three other times. Other than that, the campground is in a nice setting and near wine country too.

We went for a wine country weekend. It's the perfect location. Right between Sonoma and Santa Rosa. We stayed in a lodge. It was very nice. The pool was great. It was fun to see everyone having so much fun. The customer service was very friendly. I will go back.

We booked last minute and we're totally happy with our first KOA experience. The office staff and groundskeepers are out of this world friendly. My husband and I were traveling without the kiddo or the dogs, but if you have young kids with you, this is the place to stay! SO MANY kids and they're all running around playing and riding bikes/scooters. If little kid laughter bugs you, then be advised. There's a dog park, a petting zoo and the office has beer, wine 😉 and souvenirs. My only comment would be that laundry is not available 24/7 - only until 6 pm (even though it's behind closed doors) and that quiet hours last until 8 am (would've preferred 7 am since we had our motorcycle).
