My family enjoyed our stay at the KOA at South Padre. It was a very convenient location. We were close to everything the island had to offer thank you. Also everyone at the KOA was welcoming and we had no negative events or situations. Thank you we will see you all in the future.

We enjoyed every minute of this KOA. Restroom were clean and very fresh with A/C. My kids loved being at the pool. It was very HOT these few days but we made the best of it. Staff was super awesome very helpful and friendly. Thank you KOA see you soon!!!

Came again to watch the Spacex launch but not an easy place on the grounds to get to and watch. Certain areas weve used before had no trespassing signs. Construction on grounds continues.

It was fine. We had some kind of green water around our site. Some men came to assess the problem as we were packing up, so they must have known about it. I had to try to constantly keep the kids and dogs away from stepping in it.

We had a lovely time but it was so packed on the weekends that it was not fun. Not the management’s fault but they really need to figure out how to get people to pick up after their dogs and get the fur parents to be conscious of other guests with their pets incessant barking. Electrical issues with the laundry faculties and folding clean clothes on a flooded floor was sad.

Very clean facilities. The bathhouses were well taken care of. Plenty of laundry machines. Staff was friendly and attentive. I would recommend to anyone, and would stay there again.

We loved our stay. My girls made friends with one of the employees and they even coined Ms. Jerry Ann as their fairy godmother. It was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had.

The park is very nice and clean and everyone that works there always answers your questions the only thing I don’t like is the rock pads to park your rv

Super friendly and helpful staff. Grounds were clean and well taken care of. The individual sites were comfy and cozy with private little patios, palm trees and blooming Rhododendrons. My favorite part was that upon arrival, a staff member escorted us to our site and directed our moves to make backing our 38 ft RV a breeze. My husband really liked the restrooms and showers. Great place!

Restrooms were very clean and the showers were hot. Pool was nice and the facilities were quiet, during a major holiday. Boat ramp was easy access and fishing was good. I recommend this place as good for the entire family.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the KOA. The staff was helpful & friendly from start to finish. Our camp area was clean upon arrival, & had no issues during our stay. We will definitely be back to stay.

Jerry Ann always makes us happy - we did a last minute stay and was put in #56 back-in - not our favorite site, and we wont do that again. We love our local KOA - although, there is always a billing issue - not sure why - its always the KOA's issue - we just roll with it - mostly we love the staff here (although we did not get a joke from Steve this visit) Thanks again - see you soon! Only 2 things that I can say good about this KOA, 1. Sherry is kind and has a great sense of customer service. 2. The bathrooms are nice. Your ads for your campground are misleading and do not give the true content of the campground has to offer. I am truly sorry that I wasted our time coming. I was highly disappointed.

The park was clean. The staff were all very nice. The only problem we had were the work campers two spots down that had two black cats they let roam at will. I have to keep my dog on a leash when outside and they should have those cats contained as well.

WE like to re-cycle plastic and glass but, was amazed to find out that KOA doesn't re-cycle anymore. Suggest that KOA resume re-cycling.

Nice place but so many grass burrs where you walk your dogs. Spaces are close together. Maintained well. We tripped over the water pipe and fell on our site as it was sticking up in the middle of division between spots and hard to see at night. Close to everything in S. Padre

I stayed 6 months and enjoyed my stay tremendously. It was fun getting to meet the new employees and see the previous ones as well. I walk a lot and love to do evening walks. Bruce and Jerry Ann were always looking after me and making sure I returned home safe. Dottie was very helpful in the office. I had an issue with overgrown weeds and Bruce took care of it immediately. Concern: false recycling

This was our first time to be on SPI. Staying at the KOA was a wonderful experience. All of the staff were friendly and willing to help. They made rounds all morning picking up trash. When we arrived at the park, they led us to our site and assisted spotting in on the site. Swimming pool was in excellent shape and clean.We stayed one month at the park. We are making future plans for another trip.

Was relaxing. But one attendant kept coming to tell us over and over that our 14 yr old shouldn't be driving the golf cart. We let him once, but then we stopped cause he didn't have license to drive, but the attendant kept coming back and if he was sitting in it with his 70 yr old grandpa next to him he had the Gaul to come and tell them again if the 14 yr old is driving. Right after we had already told he wasn't. 3 times he did that. That was harassment and annoying. That's why I gave a one star for service.
