Park needs maintenance. Grass areas between spots are barren and brown. Weeds everywhere. KOA raised prices $30/night and it went to pot. Will stay at River Run from now on

Very nice facilities and grounds. Two complaints. 1. The restaurant closes at 8pm every day. Would be great if they stayed open later on weekends to welcome late guests. 2. We arrived at night, after dark, and had to deal with a black widow in the electric box. Very unnerving. Yuck! Also no table at our site. Overall, great place to stay.

Very nice urban park. We stayed for one night as a way-point on our journey. Friendly staff, great little restaurant and bar, easy in-and-out for our site.

Always immaculately kept grounds with friendly staff ant the on-site “Crest” restaurant is a very nice amenity to the property. This place is a jewel to have within the city limits of Bakersfield and yet it makes you feel that you are away from home when in reality you’re not!

Great KOA. Great staff, level sites, all utilities functional...and The Crest for a refreshment and/or a meal. My go to in Bakersfield!!!

We have stayed in the Bakersfield KOA a number of times and will continue to do so. One PROBLEM – They have a nice restaurant, but KOA corporate has dictated that they reduce their menu offerings – cut them in about half. We lost some of our favorite meals. Why does KOA corporate care what is on the menu? And limit the offerings that we have enjoyed for years.

Short overnight stay. Easy check-in, no issues with the hook ups and surprisingly quiet for an urban location. For a longer stay, a good jumping off point for heading into the southern Sierra's.

The campground was well laid out and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ate in the dinner and our meal was delicious and well priced. Our waitress was also the bartender was fast and efficient. She deserves an A+

Quick overnight on the way home. It was fine, clean facilities. The area around the park is busy and noisy , but did quiet down overnight

Having been here before my impression is “run-down”. The cable being gone, ok….the picnic tables that are now scarce, ok. But the overgrown grass and weeds in the open spaces is awful and uninviting. I did not feel like it was a decent value. We go to Bakersfield to visit our kids and we will be looking elsewhere.

Always a pleasure to stay here! Park is always clean, employees are friendly and helpful. And the food is wonderful at The Crest Grill! This is our “go to” whenever we are traveling through the Bakersfield area!!

Site was appropriately sized and in the area we have usually occupied in prior visits. Staff was personable and experienced. We always enjoy the Crest Grill for dinner after a usually long day of travel. Thanks for consistent and safe place to stay.

Love having a restaurant on site. Felt safe staying here. Sites were clean, level & had grass area. Dog friendly. Bathroom & showers clean. Only fault was location close to train & hearing train whistle periodically.

2 Dog waste containers were full of you know what and 2 other waste containers were also full and a little noisy past 11:00 PM from m a site nearby. Having passed along those negative comments the welcoming staff was wonderful on our arrival.

a Area It was just an overnight stop on a longer trip. We always like to plan our stops on our way home to the LA area. We enjoy the Crest Grille for dinner and only wish you still served breakfast as it was always a great way to start on our different journeys

We were greeted by the camp host Ray… he was so helpful and just an all around nice guy! Very helpful and I could tell by his interactions with the other campers he is very well liked! The restaurant was outstanding! Food was great and our waitress was darling.. I just wish I could remember her name… but I’m dilute they are all great! This is a very beautiful park and we enjoyed our stay

I gave a 4 because a sprinkler sprayed the top passenger side window on my diesel coach. It defo items needs to be adjusted. I’m pretty sure grass Doesn’t grow up that high .

I stayed at Bakersfield RV Resort many times and it was always one of my favorites. KOA Bakersfield has kept up the quality this resort always had. I would highly recommend this resort. KOA should use this place as a model for all of their other parks as a good share of the KOA parks are really not very good.

Beautiful park, clean, well maintained but the only drawback was the incredibly loud train air horn sounding off three times in the early morning. Once, around 2:30 am, 3:30 am and 4:30 am. Very irritating. So bring ear plugs for sure!
