Beautiful campsite, but disappointed the bathroom near tent sites was shutdown for the whole season.

Gave us wrong cabin size (from a 2 bed to just a room payment difference of only 15 dollars-we are are a family of 4 plus a dog who traveled 12 hours!) didn’t have any others available, outside light didn’t work nor was ever fixed, restrooms are dirty, playground is outdated, trash never picked up we had to gin throw it. Hours are not great only open from 10-3.

We’ve been coming to this KOA for 10 years and new owners aren’t keeping this campground up to KOA standards. It was pretty busy but only 1 set of bathrooms was open and they only have one cleaner the previous owners had at least 2 which enabled them to open the 2nd bathroom. The poor gal had a hard time getting in to clean as it was constantly busy.

Great location for exploring the Redwoods and the campground does offer unique sites for RV or tent camping. We were happy with our site which had a hedge of privacy on both sides. The campground also offered a good sized playfield and dog park, but during our 3-day stay the grass badly needed to be mowed on all surfaces and trash bins overflowed for the first two days.

We arrived after dark and our site information was easily located at the registration building. We had a pull-through site with easy access for our 21ft trailer and truck. Site was level with nice hookups, picnic table and fire pit. Lots of recycle and trash bins available and we used the laundry facilities. Friendly staff, lovely grounds.

We had a wonderful time. Staff are always helpful and friendly. We even added an extra day. I’ll be back for sure. Our place was comfortable, warm and even had enough room for our dog.

This is not a "Holiday" KOA; it's barely a "Journey". No pool. No snack bar / restaurant. Office hours are only from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - opens too late in the morning and doesn't stay open late enough in the afternoon / evening. Bathrooms are dirty and not well stocked; although the shower pressure was good. Employees are friendly.

My tent campground site was amazing! I was car camping so I got to see the trees from my moon roof. Showers were relatively clean, bathrooms were clean. The campground store/registration closes at 3 which was extremely inconvenient and the whole city shuts down at 4. Which is why I gave the rating of 4. If it weren't for the view of trees and lots of them in general it would be a 3

Got there at 5:00 office closes at 3;00. Went there instead of dry camping for showers. We went to take showers and cold! Called and left message and didn’t even get a return call!

We loved our tent site among the trees! It was a very peaceful and quiet retreat with plenty of room to set up and ample parking space for the SUV. The restroom facility at the entrance was kept pleasantly heated and had nice, hot showers. The resident goats along the walk there were a bonus. Very happy!

The bathrooms were clean, laundry worked fine, and the sink outside of the laundry room was much appreciated. We saw 3 banana slugs! The sites were quiet and private. It was easy to get to. The only drawbacks we experienced were the office hours only being from 10 to 3, it was difficult to arrange our travel itinerary to accommodate, and they did lose our mail.

Unusually narrow parking spots for RVs and trailers. Firepit located 2 feet from a dense, tall hedge, and 6 feet from parking pad (fire hazard). Many potholes (risk to RV and trailer structure). 1 day out of 4: dirty and poorly stocked bathrooms and showers; trash container overfull, garbage bag on ground. Wifi inconsistent. We won't be returning to this particular KOA site.

We have stayed in several KOA parks within the last two years, from Oregon to Illinois, and this park was, by far, our favorite. We had two granddaughters with us who absolutely loved their private bunkroom (clever design) & we enjoyed the option of separation :) The deluxe cabin was clean, well appointed and the bed was very comfortable! Beautiful park. Many thanks to Debbie, she's fantastic!

Great separation of sites, especially if you’re tent camping. Need more operable washers in the laundry, really backed up with only 2 working. Nice and quiet close to coast and we’re on the edge of the redwoods. Cool site.

I stay at many KOA's and this one cant get a positive review! Their office hours are 10-3! Who are those hours suppose to help? They havent mowed the grass..... this year it looks like. When I did come back to the office and asked the person if she could relocate me, she claimed they are full and I would have to move twice during my stay. That was unacceptable, I moved out!

The bed in the Deluxe cabin#3 seemed very old. It was much too soft. The TV worked intermittently. The water for the shower kept changing temperatures from cold to hot and back to cold. Making it very hard to enjoy a shower. The porch lights didn't work. The cabin was clean.

No staff in office during traditional arrival and departure times. Site was not clean - it looked like someone emptied a vaccum on site. . Good location for a stop.

We like our spot, C9, I believe. The site had tall shrubs on both sides so we had a sense of privacy. The park is nicely situated between Crescent City & Brookings. We enjoyed it and would return again.

Our stay was ok. The location is fantastic and the people working there are great! The office/camp store hours were 10 AM to 3 PM so that was inconvenient. The campground is showing it's age. Sites are close together so chose not to have a fire as it would have been unsafe with the next RV parked. The provided cable didn't work on all the channels and the grass needed cut

This campsite is pretty run down and we felt very unsafe. We tent camped and the tent sites are at the back of the campground and far away from the RV and cabin spots. We felt unsafe being so far away from other campers. Also, the store/office closes super early and no camp host is on site so therefor there is no security past 4 pm. Would not recommend tent camping here.

We observed it to be an older KOA she needs some updates, especially the showers/bathrooms. Safety was a concern the doors to everywhere were always left open or ajar.

Very friendly staff. Level spot for our class B with full hookups. Restrooms and showers were clean. Only improvement would be potholes in roads filled in. Thanks for a great quiet stay close to the Redwood State and national parks!

Operation/management appears to be lacking. eg We made our reservation in Feb. for deluxe patio 50 amp. Pullthrough. Recd confirmation & again April 23rd. Arrived May 5 and were given a standard with 30 amp. Wish we’d have known. Narrow site, 30 amp.,challenge to park towed vehicle. Poorly maintained/Appeared neglected. Not up to KOA standards, which is why we choose KOAs. Very disappointed.

These folks guided us to the best tour locations. They went above and beyond in getting a site for us on our several-day stay. Next year this is the first place we will book. Some of the friendliest folks we met on a multi-state travel.

The lady that took our reservation was rude and refused to refund our deposit when we discovered there was no bedding available for the rustic cabin... only sleeping bags to rent for $50 each. We are retired, traveling light and have had nothing but great experiences at all the KOAs we've stayed at. We WON'T be back to the Crescent City location.

Spot was way to small and hard to get into for our rig. The individual checking us in was knowledgeable on spots. The one assigned to us was occupied. The dog park grass was way too high, the dog poop container was over flowing full. Beautiful place if it was kept up.

Beautiful campground but very understaffed. Office is only open 10-3 which makes it inconvenient. Maybe they’ll extend the hours in the summer(?) Doors to restrooms are propped open even overnight?

The park is nice with views of the redwoods and mountains, and is close to the the national park. Most sites are narrow but adequately maintained. The store could carry more items for tourist traveling and collecting.

This has always been a favorite campground for our family, location is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay this weekend, it was quiet, relaxing and the staff were super friendly and helpful.
